Fox once famously said that her Transformers director Michael Bay “wants to be like Hitler on his sets, and he is.” Labeouf solidifies this claim, explaining that “When Mike would ask [Fox] to do specific things, there was no time for fluffy talk. We're on the run.” So what I gather is, when Fox filmmed on set for the first two Transformers, Bay exploited his actresses' attributes and made her feel uncomfortable, all in the name of “art.”
I feel bad for Megan Fox. It sounds she was exploited by Bay, and that she really could not handle the baggage that came with being the “sexiest women in America." Let’s just hope the next model in line to work with Michael is ok with his exploits. Oh, wait she is.
Labeouf talked to People.com about Fox’s replacement in the new Transformers: Dark of the Moon, Rosie Huntington-Whitley. He says: “Rosie comes with this Victoria's Secret background and she's comfortable with it. So she can get down with Mike's way of working, and it makes the whole set vibe very different.” I can understand struggling with being a 'sex symbol,' Megan. But don't let Bay get you down, dammit, we still think you're foxy. [source]
